You say it's your birthday...

Today is my birthday, and it's been wonderful so far. Last night, my fiance Yvette made me a German chocolate cake. Without pecans, buttermilk, and evaporated milk, we wondered whether it would work. In fact, it worked great. I couldn't wait until today, so we ate a big part of it last night. This morning, after opening my presents, Helsinki experienced its first snow of the season. Just two nights ago, we reached freezing for the first time. It's gorgeous outside watching the snow fall. What a great birthday!
